Finance Manager
Location: Bordon, Hampshire

The Role:
Parico are looking for an accomplished Finance Manager to join our existing HQ team. You will be initially based from our offices in Bordon, once up to speed there is an opportunity to transition to hybrid working.
The ideal candidate will have a background in accounting, finance, and bookkeeping with an extremely high level of attention to detail.
Responsibilities include managing accounts receivable and payable, reconciling bank statements, preparing financial reports, and maintaining accurate company records. The successful candidate must be detail-oriented, organized, and have excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities include:
· Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into accounting software or databases then filing digital copies.
· Exhibiting expert stewardship over company resources by ensuring prompt payment of vendor invoices, while continually monitoring and managing bank account balances to optimise cash flow.
· Managing an established payroll system, inclusive of staff expenses and pension contributions, ensuring all employee compensation is processed accurately and punctually to uphold our commitment to workforce satisfaction.
· Demonstrating a high level of precision and timeliness in submitting quarterly VAT returns, reinforcing the company's compliance with statutory financial obligations.
· Vigilantly validating and approving invoices by ensuring absolute accuracy and confirming that all corresponding goods or services have been satisfactorily received.
· Maintaining financial equilibrium by consistently balancing control accounts, conducting thorough account reconciliations, and diligently investigating any variances that occur.
· Preparing financial statements showing business income and expenditure.
· Taking charge of the fixed asset register, ensuring it is up-to-date and accurate for reliable financial reporting and effective asset management.
· Crafting monthly financial statements that encompass cash flow analysis, profit and loss reports, and balance sheets, serving as a comprehensive financial brief for the Executive Team.
· Supporting the Executive Team in the development and implementation of internal accounting processes and procedures.
Our Ideal Candidate:
· Demonstrates a strong professional history with a minimum of 5yrs experience in Finance, Accounts Payable or Bookkeeping roles, showing a deep understanding of financial operations and processes.
· Showcases familiarity and proficiency with cloud-based finance systems such as Sage and Xero.
· Exhibits a proven track record in navigating the dynamic financial landscapes of a rapidly growing small business and demonstrates past experience in contributing to the financial success of such organisations, positioning them to actively participate in and propel our company's expansion.
· Be able to work collaboratively with colleagues within the business and with key contacts in other organisations; have a proven ability to work as a member of a team.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and comfortable taking on new challenges.
· Precise data entry skills with excellent knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to hold a minimum of UK Security Clearance (SC).
Desirable Qualifications:
· Qualification through Institute of Certified Bookkeepers or equivalent
