About Our Client
My client is a large Not for Profit organisation in the Education sector based in Nottingham and due to an absence within the team they are looking for immediate cover. It is a really exciting time to be joining my client, they are in the midst of upgrading their systems and this postholder will be a part of this project. Based in West Nottingham they are easily commutable from wider Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
Job Description
The Finance Partner will report directly to the Head of Finance. Duties of the Finance Partner include but are not limited to:
- Plan, prepare, monitor and evaluate the annual budget working in liaison with the senior leadership team
- Providing internal stakeholders with a range of financial and budgetary information
- Ensure the accurate reporting of budgetary expenditure
- Analysis of income and expenditure
- Preparation of year end journals
- Production of reports
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will:
- Be AAT qualified, or part CIMA/ACCA qualified (or have relevant experience)
- Have demonstrated experience working in finance
- Have a good understanding of general accounting principles
- Have experience of Financial Management Systems
- Be from an Education background (desirable)
