Job description
Basis: Full Time
Hours: 37
Work pattern: Monday to Friday
Type: Temporary-Fixed Term Contract
We are brave, we are ambitious, we are honest, and we are Citizen!
Do you want an exciting professional career in finance? If so, we are offering you an apprenticeship where you will earn a salary and gain valuable work experience while achieving the AAT qualification.
About you
The AAT qualification is the start of an accountancy career, so you do not need to have any previous accounting experience. You’ll learn basic principles of accountancy in year 1 and then build on that knowledge in years 2 & 3 learning more complex accounting techniques and disciplines. At the same time, you will gain valuable work experience in our Development and/or Corporate Services finance teams.
To be successful in this role, you should have a basic knowledge of Excel and have an attention to detail to be able to work accurately on detailed work, often to tight deadlines.
You will be studying in the evenings or weekends, so you will need to demonstrate commitment to your career development and be prepared to focus on your studies and exams in addition to your working hours. Citizen will fund your course, all your exams and any study materials throughout the 3 years.
So, if you think you’re the person we’re looking for, we really want to hear from you.
About Us
We are proud to be an organisation with a heart and a clear social purpose which provides homes for people who can’t access them on the market. It doesn’t matter which team you work in, being part of Citizen will give you the chance to play your own part in making a very real difference to people’s lives.
