Work from anywhere on the planet! Our HQ is in London but have teams working remotely all over the world.
We are looking for a results driven, meticulous Finance Manager who will manage and deliver our finance obligations and requirements for one of our legal entities based in Malta.
This role will be reporting into the Financial Controller.
Responsibilities:
Full suite of financial control to include:
- Bookkeeping in Xero
- Bank (fiat) reconciliations
- Bank (crypto) reconciliations
- Revenue recognition and reconciliations
- Local VAT reporting and returns
- Other aspects of financial control
- Intangible assets register and amortisation/impairment schedule
- Dividend administration
Management Reporting to include:
- Delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual management reporting for P&L, Balance Sheet, cash flow statement and supporting qualitative narratives
- Variance analysis vs Budget/Forecasts and Qualitative reporting
- Alignment of finance reported numbers with marketing numbers
- Year end statutory compliance and tax and reporting
Other responsibilities:
- Facilitation, collation and reporting of the annual budget
- Rolling forecasts
- External audit of company entity
- Supervision of outsource/support staff
- Point of contact/support with external advisors (accountants & company director/secretary)
- AML and local regulatory compliance
- Administrative duties
Requirements:
- CCAB qualified (ACA/ACCA) or equivalent with a minimum of 3 yrs PQE
- Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work to a high level of accuracy
- Highly organised and an efficient executor
- Effective communicator and keeps the Finance Controller/CFO updated on progress & issues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Sound knowledge of accounting standards (FRS 102/IFRS)
- Proficient in accounting software (ie - Xero or equivalent)
- Compliance, governance and controls oriented
- High level of professional and ethical standards
- Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills (Google sheets and/or MS Excel)
