Finance Manager 2 Sisters Food Group Grimsby (Site Based Role) Monday to Friday Competitive Salary and Benefits 2 Sisters Food Group are recruiting for an experienced and commercially focused Finance Manger to join our meals manufacturing operation. Based out of Grimsby this role will play a key part in supporting our operations nationwide. Our Recipe Dish site in Grimsby, a state-of-the-art CIP plant producing premium quality chilled soups and sauces. About the role: The Finance Manager will play a key role in supporting the senior leadership team. Offering the opportunity to influence a market leader during time of growth and development. The role has significant input into all commercial decision-making streams and is responsible for maintaining and governing the internal financial control environment of the business to minimise financial risk and meet business objectives both strategic and financial. It is therefore essential that you have background in a commercial focused finance role within the food sector. Managing a team of three finance professionals, daily duties will also include: Ensuring financial controls are maintained across the site and weekly reporting accurately reflects the trading position of the site. Providing support and understanding to site leadership team whilst highlighting risks and opportunities. Responsibility for monitoring and management of the sites working capital - site inventory and fixed assets. Providing challenge and insight into financial and operational performance. Producing flash forecasts, quarterly forecasts, and annual budgets for the site. Proactive management of internal/external audits and coordination of timely implementation of corrective action. Continuously monitoring capex spend vs budget and managing analysis of all payback projects. About You: To succeed in this Finance Manger role you will need to demonstrate the following: Qualified Accountant with +3 years post-qualified experience with ACCA/CIMA A strong manufacturing background (ideally Food). Strong commercial awareness and demonstrable evidence of influencing the site commercial agenda An ability to drive change and build standards Proven leadership experience Be hands on and active with the site but also effectively delegate Experience of process improvements. Pro-active, takes initiative, actively seeks out improvement opportunities without being asked.
