Account Executive
Northflank is a cutting-edge cloud platform enabling the next generation of developers to build and ship highly-scalable full-stack applications faster than ever before. We are a venture-backed company that has raised over $7.5 million. Our platform is already being used by tens of thousands of developers, and we are looking for an experienced and motivated Account Executive to join our team and help us achieve 10x growth. As a founding member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging with potential customers, building relationships, closing deals, and setting the tone for our outbound initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and iterate on Northflank’s sales process to drive revenue growth.
Work closely with marketing and executive leadership to develop successful lead generation campaigns and messaging.
Fully understand our customers’ needs and pain points, and effectively articulate how Northflank can address those needs.
Research market opportunities, companies, and contacts to build high-potential target lists for outreach.
Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers within target accounts, nurture early phase sales opportunities, and guide prospects through the sales funnel from lead identification to purchase.
Strategically partner with engineering and executive team as needed to address technical specifications throughout the sales process, and close high value customers.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer information.
Collaborate cross functionally to provide customer feedback and insights that can help shape the product roadmap, GTM strategy, and customer relations.
Requirements:
2-7 years of experience working in a fast-paced sales environment.
At least 2 years of experience selling infrastructure software to technical buyers, preferably in the cloud ecosystem: PaaS, Kubernetes, Cloud Native, etc.
Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline effectively.
Experience with modern CRM systems.
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, computer science or equivalent professional experience.

Compensation
The annual salary/OTE range for this role is $120,000-$200,000 + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401k).
