Strong academic background with a minimum of 6+ years' experience. - Robust analytical & modelling skills required. - A fluency in standard software including Excel, PowerPivot etc. - Strong financial acumen including advanced accounting knowledge and experience with forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis - Knowledge of SQL and a self-serve environment. Possess strong communication and persuasion skills. - Can successfully manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously and work to tight deadlines. Ability to simplify and improve inefficient or complex processes. - Able to operate at all levels, by staying connected to the details as well as being able to step back and see the bigger picture.

This is a high-profile, stimulating role, whose scope includes Fresh Physical Stores as well as Fresh Online across UK. The growth of the business and the increasing complexity driven by new launches and services make this role an exciting, interesting and challenging opportunity. The successful candidate will work closely with Retail finance stakeholders and business partners to deliver ambitious growth plans, driving our profitability roadmap and helping to shape business strategy over the long-term. The role is based out of London, UK.
Key job responsibilities
- Providing analytical support to the UK Fresh business (Online + Physical Stores) on all short and long-term growth strategies.
- Leading the evaluation of key cross-functional projects with stakeholders across In-stock / Supply Chain/Marketing/Project Management/Product Management/ Operations finance
- Support building top-line growth plans for UK Fresh including future expansion, identifying risk / opportunities and recommendations on how to manage
- Ongoing controllership, performance management and analysis of key business metrics and trends
- Determine the key interventions the business unit needs to be successful, aligning management and driving delivery
- Manage ad hoc requests, financial deep dives and analyses, scenario planning from Sr. Leadership.
- Identify opportunities to resolve defects proactively. Create, improve, scale, or simplify finance processes/tools across teams and organizations.

Finance experience from Grocery, Retail or FMCG companies within an international environment
Master’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field
