NVR, Inc. is seeking a Senior IT Business Administrator to join our industry leading technology team in Reston, VA and be a part of making someone’s dream home a reality! This role will play a crucial role in our IT department by supporting the assessment, selection, and purchase of all IT products and services provided to our business. You will leverage your strong organizational skills to ensure the team keeps a concentrated focus on the costs, values, and risks when reviewing IT contracts and expense accounts.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with NVRT standards and NVR policies on all project procurement activities.
- Participate in assigned projects and initiatives involving the procurement of new technology products and services.
- Collaborate with business and technology leaders in their evaluation, selection, and renewal of information technology products and services to ensure appropriate contract terms are defined.
- Support the evaluation, selection, negotiation, onboarding and business integration of the related IT vendor products and services.
- Validate, analyze, and process invoices ensuring accurate and timely payments and continued services from partners.
Job Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience working in purchasing, inventory, operations, or maintenance
- Driven individual who can work independently, demonstrates initiative, and proactively seeks solutions to problems
- Demonstrates sound judgment with strong analysis and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and collaboration skills
- Ability to analyze current process and procedures and identify areas for continuous improvement
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Good interpersonal skills and a proven ability to interact effectively with key stakeholders
- Able to prioritize, multitask, and adjust to meet time sensitive demands
- Preferred Experience:
- Basic understanding of commercial terms within contracts (warranties, intellectual property, indemnification)
- Experience reading, analyzing, or light negotiation of legal agreements
- Professional understanding of basic information technology knowledge
