The purpose of this exciting Finance Trainee role is to develop your analytical skills, by supporting the local performance management and compliance framework. You will learn to reverse engineer processes and how every part of our day-to-day doings can have a financial impact which will give you a good end to end understanding of the organization from Sales to Engineering. You will have the opportunity to collaborate beyond the UK&I for margin improvement projects.

You will support on the following topics:

  • Supporting local Cluster/Business leads with performance insights for

    • Order Intake

    • Sales

    • Profitability and cost

  • Deep dives on performance deviations in collaboration with FP&A and the business

  • Supporting the integration of performance management cycles for:

    • US Funnel Daily Management

    • District performance review

  • Order intake compliance & Order book review

  • Supporting the Month end closing activities with special focus on Sleep & Respiratory Care

  • Collaborating with the Pricing team on critical deal approvals

  • Working with Financial Controller on Balance sheet projects (for example Inventory)

  • Support the forecasting process in collaboration with the solution finance teams.

  • Finance Improvement projects (Margin Attack Plan, Cash collection program 2023)

  • Support business during Forecasting, Budgeting, Strategic plans with relevant input

You are a part of

The Finance organization UK&I and will support the local Sales and Business Teams. In this role you will report into the Finance Zone Business Partner UK&I.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

  • Recent graduate in a Finance related degree (Bachelors or Masters)

  • Evidence of high-performance background (for example through your academic and/or extra-curricular activities)

  • Continuous improvement mindset and being eager to deliver fast

  • Ability to understand to learn on complex processes

  • Analytical skills

  • Convincing communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Some excel experience, pivoting data is a plus, but not a requirement

Recruitment Process:

Please submit your detailed CV and a motivational statement for the UKI Zone Finance Trainee role at your earliest convenience but at the latest by 12th May 2023. Next stages will include: an online assessment and a video interview, and finally, an assessment centre due to take place in May at our Farnborough office.
