We are looking for a Finance Customer Service Adviser Apprentice who has a positive and proactive approach and is excited by a challenge.

We want an Adviser who is:

  • Friendly and enjoys building relationships with people.
  • Committed to supporting clients using effective communication techniques including asking questions and listening to client responses.
  • Focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences by working collaboratively across departments to resolve customer enquiries quickly and provide the right solutions, first time.
  • Able to keep their product and finance services knowledge up to date.
  • Capable of achieving high standards of customer satisfaction when dealing with finance agreement and monthly direct debit payments queries.
  • Able to work with potentially vulnerable clients, who may be in financial difficulty, to take payments, set up payment plans and provide support.
  • Adept at understanding the need to ensure compliance in FCA regulated activities and when amending financial agreements and customer documentation.
  • Organised and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Trustworthy and reliable.
  • A team player who is enthusiastic and self-motivated and who understands the importance of their role and the role of others in their team.

Acorn Insurance Apprenticeship Programme

The Acorn Apprenticeship Programme is designed to give you the knowledge, skills, and behaviours you will need to accelerate your career progression, whilst you earn a competitive salary and gain practical experience.

During the apprenticeship, you will:

  • Work with a Training and Development Coach to develop a professional development plan that is personalised to your needs.
  • Attend monthly, online Masterclasses on topics such problem solving, customer service and delivering results.
  • Receive 1:1 support from Coaches who have significant experience of being a customer services adviser within the financial sector.
  • Get six-hours of study time, per week.
  • Be able to attend workshops and guest speaker seminars.
