A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Linux Server Administrator to join our highly talented Learning Management System Team.
Do you have…
· At least three years’ experience of working with web servers?
· A strong working knowledge of the following server software:
o Linux (primarily CentOS, some Ubuntu)
o Apache
o MariaDB
o PHP
· A good understanding of Git?
· The ability to write Bash scripts?
· Experience of DNS management and application of SSL?
· Experience of firewall administration?
· A good understanding of web server security and GDPR?
· A keen eye and attention to detail?
· Excellent written English and oral communication skills to work directly with clients?
· Great time management skills?
· The ability to prioritize and manage your own workload and be a self-starter to hit-the ground running with Linux server administration?
If so then we'd love to hear from you. In addition to these skills and experience, it would be even more desirable if you have:
· Knowledge of SSO implementation (OAuth2/SAML2)?
· Knowledge of automation tools?
· Knowledge of AWS SNS service?
· Knowledge of LMS platforms (Moodle especially)?
In return you would have the ability to help steer the future direction of our web server hosting service. You could work the majority of your time remotely at home, along with occasional meetings and work at our offices in the beautiful grounds of Harewood House. You would be working with a team of highly-motivated technology professionals who develop, deploy and support our Moodle based learning management system to a wide range of clients, as well as working in conjunction with server engineers from our data centre partner.
