The role
The purpose of this role is to complete several key tasks that need to be carried out within tight timescales.
The post holder will be expected to undertake any function of the team as required (training will be given to facilitate this).
Working as part of a team all finance clerks will provide a financial support and administration service. Whilst finance clerks may cover all areas, individuals will have specific duties within their role.
It has the following main responsibilities;
- Bank and Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Bank Account Administration.
- Purchase and sales ledger
- Cash and rent accounting
- Month end reconciliations
- General office tasks
What we need
For this role you’ll need to have the following skills and experience;
- Minimum of 5 GCSE or ‘O’ level to include English and Maths, or equivalent.
- Previous experience of working in a finance team completing tasks as set out in the job description.
- Attention to detail and able to work to deadlines
- Ability to act tactfully, with discretion and confidentiality.
- Good organisational and administration skills.
- Team Player.
