Job description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finance Business Partner, Supply Chain to join a successful Global business in Southall. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial analysis and support to the Supply Chain department, ensuring accurate reporting and analysis of key performance indicators. The Supply Chain Finance Business Partner will work closely with the Finance Director to drive financial performance and provide insights to optimize supply chain operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monthly reporting: Conduct global accounting reconciliation of all supply chain warehouses to identify top-line performance versus standard cost for stock levels (pallet turn), disposals, purchases, primary transportation, storage, and distribution.
- Review and report UK Supply Chain / fixed overheads, including the development of reporting to manage labor efficiency versus pallet turn to reconcile with accounts.
- Conduct detailed review of primary transport and customer distribution by delivery to capture rate and load fill impacts versus budget.
- Analyze sourcing impacts on purchases driven by changes in actual flow versus budgeted flow.
- Prepare month-end accruals for distribution, storage, primary transport, stock in transit, GRNI, and sales in transit for all deliveries.
- Review and organize quarterly stock reconciliations for 3rd party platforms and conduct perpetual inventory checks for UK Supply Chain to ensure inventory accuracy, including year-end audit data.
- Manage held stock and at-risk provisions for all platforms.
- Conduct daily invoice review to ensure correct coding and data accuracy for detailed reporting.
- Forecast supply chain performance on a quarterly basis, including projected recovery of Supply Chain / based on sales forecasts, extrapolating variances on variable costs where appropriate.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget by collecting fixed overheads and providing the necessary data to calculate platform costs by product.
- Excellent communicator. Able to explain and present financial information to inform and assist with decision making { Finance for Non Finance }
- CIMA qualified or equivalent.
- Team player with a proven Track Record in Finance Business Partnering.Ability to work with a multi-discipline group.Willingness to observe and understand the Supply Chain process and analyze, explain and challenge to improve the financial performance.
- Solid cost accounting skills backed up by relevant professional education and experience.
- Excellent IT skills particularly in Excel.
- Knowledge of SAP desirable but not essential.
