Main Duties Will Include
Perform fault-finding and diagnosis on a range of PLC controlled warehouse equipment- Attend to breakdowns onsite ensuring that there is always a rapid response, and that plant equipment and machinery breakdown time is minimised.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance on a range of Automation machinery including pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, and robots in-line with manufacturers recommendations.
- Deliver on plant uptime and maintenance KPI’s through planned, preventative & predictive maintenance.
- Accurately record work undertaken and be responsible for auditing and ordering spare parts as required.
- Analyse and resolve any Mechanical and/or Electrical faults on site
Required Skills
Previous experience of working in a similar role and environment- Recognised engineering qualification to NVQ Level 3 or higher, in an electrical and/or mechanical subject
- PLC, Network knowledge preferred
- ASI, IBUS networking and addressing knowledge
- Ability to understand electrical and mechanical drawings/manuals.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Practical attitude with effective communication skills
- Have a proactive approach to fault finding, a commitment to continuous improvement, and personal development.
