We currently have an exciting opportunity within our Shared Service Finance Team for a hotel-based Finance Assistant.
Purpose and Responsibilities
Our Finance Assistant is a key member of the Shared Service Finance Team, assisting in daily, monthly and periodic accounting functions. Ensuring accurate processing, reconciliation and reporting of data and providing efficient and professional services to the hotel and finance team in the achievement of their goals.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Reconciliation of daily revenue figures.
- Reconciliation of daily banking.
- Reconciliation of all credit card income to bank statements and responding to guest queries relating to credit card charges.
- Responsible for the main float and change for the hotel, following cash handling and banking procedures.
- Completion of sales ledger invoice checks to ensure correct posting to client accounts.
- Assisting the Shared Service Team in month end documentation and reporting.
