Our finance assistant would support the work undertaken by the Accounts Payable team and others around the Finance Department, undertake a range of tasks including invoice and expense processing, changes to suppliers, maintenance of the Payables Ledger and supplier statement reconciliations.
Key responsibilities of our Finance Assistant:
- Processing of Invoices from suppliers for Kingspan Insulation Limited and EcoTherm Insulation Limited, including the timely recording of both purchase order and non-purchase order invoices in Softco and SAP and ensuring appropriate approval of costs as per the authority matrix
- Contacting suppliers and stakeholders within the business to help resolve invoice queries
- Review and approval of expense submissions via the Concur platform, and challenging claims in line with the Kingspan Expense Policy
- Produce supplier statement reconciliations, to help ensure the accuracy of the accounts payables ledger, and for the review of the Accounts Payable Team Leader
- Calling suppliers to validate changes to supplier details, and updating supplier details within SAP as change notifications are received and verified
- Support the P2P project, helping to make process improvements within departments throughout the business from the initial procurement to the final payment stage.
- Support the Continuous Improvement project, to highlight areas for streamlining work and increase efficiency within the Finance department
What we're looking for in our Finance Assistant:
- Good Excel skills and the ability to manipulate data

Whilst not essential, the following would be of benefit:
- An accounting qualification such as AAT, CIMA or equivalent audit qualification
- Demonstrable ongoing professional development
- Previous experience of working within a Finance or Audit department
- Previous experience of working for a manufacturing organisation
- Experience in the use of SAP
