Finance Assistant
Full time, 37 hours
Salary: £24,000 per annum
We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our vibrant team here at Bristol Beacon as it reopens after a once-in-a-generation transformation.
Our Finance team are responsible for managing the finances of all Bristol Beacon activities. We are currently managing our major capital transformation to create a world-class concert hall for the region and have been part of Bristol’s cultural heritage for 150 years. Our vision is to unite people through the joy of live music, and we achieve this through a diverse programme of inspirational musical experiences.
The Finance Assistant is a new post created to support the Finance Team as we build up to the Bristol Beacon re-opening. As well as supporting other team members the post holder will take on specific responsibilities for our sales ledger and income recording, supporting our Development and Commercial Teams. The role would suit someone who is interested in developing a career in Finance.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to develop their skills whilst working for a vibrant arts organisation. Specific finance experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
The successful candidate will be numerate, well organised, has good attention to detail, enjoys solving problems and is interested in working in a creative industry.
