Job Title: SAP Development Consultant
Location: Hertford moving to Stevenage (Hybrid working)
Starting Salary: £43,516 with the opportunity to progress to £48,587 per annum - Pay increase pending
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

This is an exciting opportunity to join the SAP team, at Hertfordshire County Council.
Working as part of the SAP Team and reporting to the SAP Team Lead, this role is responsible for providing technical support for SAP applications, spanning the Finance, Purchasing, Payroll and Human Resources business areas within HCC.
Working closely with the team, the successful applicant will be responsible for ABAP development and configuration, as well as engaging in business-as-usual solutions.
Duties include technical support, development, testing, system administration and configuration, sometimes with little information of the requirement. You will be expected to work closely with our stakeholders and to comply with ITIL change control and service delivery processes.
We’ll need you to have experience of SAP ABAP configuration and Microsoft Office suite. You will be able to ensure work is carried out to a high standard. Knowledge of BI would be an advantage.
You will have the opportunity to work in an established team, delivering a high quality of service, whilst developing your system knowledge and expertise.
