We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Xero Finance Assistant to become part of our fantastic friendly team.
This is an exciting position to get hands on experience of looking after several of our larger clients, acting as their own finance assistant, including everything from weekly bookkeeping, to dealing with suppliers, making payments, monitoring cash flow etc.

You will join as part of our experienced team, and the option to work from home up to 2 days per week is available for the right candidate too.

We offer some hybrid remote working – “Work from Home”, along with a competitive salary ranging from £22,000 to £26,000 depending on experience.
Main Responsibilities
- Daily bookkeeping using Xero (experience with Xero is a must for this role)
- Processing sales invoices, receipts, and payments
- Managing the creditor and debtor ledgers
- Checking and reconciling company bank statements
- Posting of all supplier invoices
- Liaising with suppliers, and making supplier payments
- Reconciling balance sheet & control accounts
- Dealing with financial paperwork and filing
- Payroll journals and reconciliations
About You:
- You will be a self-motivated person who enjoys variety and multi-tasking.
- You will ideally be fully AAT qualified - will consider those studying level 4 AAT currently
- You will have a solid knowledge/experience of numbers and finance matters
- You will have the ability to work quickly and accurately. Showing good concentration with an eye for detail and be able to work to deadlines
- Experience with Xero is a must
- Have experience using Intermediate MS Office, including Excel, Word.
- You must be highly organized, proactive and a self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to prioritize workload and be self-sufficient in a busy work environment
