Sky News is looking for a Finance Assistant to support the newsroom with financial administration. The position will be based in Osterley.
The successful candidate will work across the newsroom managing the administration of finance related tasks including but not limited to processing finance invoices and payments for the newsroom.
We are looking for someone who is highly organised, with excellent communication skills & has an interest and good understanding of accounts payable and general finance functions.
To be successful in this role you must be prepared to work in a fast and highly driven environment, be proactive and have a methodical and thorough approach to work as well as being able to prioritise your workload.
What you'll do:

Processing of invoices on various finance platforms.

Raising New Supplier requests and following through to the onboarding process.

Assisting with finance processes directly linked to news coverage.

Raising orders in line with budgets.

Dealing with AP queries from suppliers and the Business

Assisting with processing charges in Concur expenses system.
What you'll bring:

Experience/knowledge of financial administrative procedures is desirable but not essential.

Demonstrable experience of working alongside teams in a complex, fast-moving environment.

First class communication skills.

Strong planning and organisational skills.

Evidence of prioritising workload.
