Finance Assistant - Fixed term/secondment opportunity for 6 months due to funding.
Salary: Band: 5 £22,437 - £24,148
37 hours per week

Your New Role
Working within a small finance team you will provide high quality finance and administrative support to departments within the Council. You will need to be computer literate as you will be using the councils computerised financial systems to raise and pay invoices as well as processing internal transfers. As well as administrative support such as financial reconciliations, data entry and general administration duties, you will resolve customer queries.
What you'll need to succeed
As well as being computer literate you will have good organisation and prioritising skills to enable you to meet deadlines. You will have the ability to use financial information systems, ideally with some experience of using computerised finance packages. You will have the ability to form good relationships and have good verbal and written communication skills. Some experience of working in a finance environment would be advantageous.
