FINANCE ASSISTANT

THE PURPOSE OF OUR FINANCE ASSISTANT

As a finance assistant you will support the Finance Manager with company finance processes ensuring high levels of quality and accuracy.

THIS IS WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AS A FINANCE ASSISTANT

• 
  Client's and firm's disbursements, payments, expenses, and receipts
• Daily banking activities
• Dealing with and resolving queries
• Firm and Client bank reconciliations
• General ledger reconciliations
• Billing for client and office
• Issuing of client and firm cheques and bank transfers
• Maintaining and updating archives

HERE ARE THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

• 
  Good Microsoft Excel skills – (some knowledge of V-Lookups and pivot tables would be desirable but not essential)
• Experience of working in a similar role – desirable.
• Good communication skills both written and verbal.
• Qualified or studying towards AAT (preferred but not essential)
