Finance Assistant
Location: Hybrid, Oxford (must be able to work in Oxford regularly)
Salary: 30-32k
The Role

We are looking for candidates with excellent financial and analytical skills to support our Business Operations Manager. The Finance Assistant will take responsibility for a variety of tasks, as well as contributing to the broader objectives of the team. You should have a solid understanding of accounting and financial analysis.
Areas of work will include:
- All elements of Bookkeeping
- Raising sales invoices
- Credit control
- Employee expenses
- Banking and Bank reconciliations
- Supporting the production of monthly management reports
- Support with budgets and forecasting
- Providing financial analysis and insights
What we’re looking for
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a finance role
- Strong excel and numerical analysis skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- An analytical thinker with strong investigative and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communicator
- Good organisation and time management
- Ability to work under own initiative as well as liaising closely with various teams
- Experience with Xero would be beneficial but not essential
Educational Requirements
- Either a degree (or equivalent) in a Finance related subject, or partial Finance qualification is preferred
