The Culligan group has recently merged with Waterlogic. We are currently looking for a Finance Assistant to join our growing EMEA Finance team.
As Finance Assistant, you will report directly to our Finance Business Partner. This is a hybrid working role. You will be required to work from our business site, located in Wolverhampton, with the ability to also work from home.
Core Roles & Responsibilities
- Daily management and maintenance of the project tracker that records all PO’s, invoice’s, credit notes, contractor rates and timesheets details.
- Ensuring the project tracker is up to date so monthly accruals can be calculated and submitted to Accounts on a timely basis.
- Raising PO’s post receipt of signed contracts and obtain approval. Ensuring all PO ref. numbers are recorded, and Suppliers are informed accordingly.
- Ensuring invoicing procedures are adhered to such as PO ref number stated, accuracy of bank details and invoicing address.
- Consolidate team overtime timesheets on a monthly basis and prepare overtime payment schedules prior to obtaining approval.
- Actively ensuring all weekly/monthly contractor timesheets are received in a timely manner, verified and approval obtained from all Service Receivers and verifying all invoices reconcile to the approved timesheets for the period in question.
- Liaising with Finance to assist with the creation of New Suppliers
- Actively supporting with contacting key internal/external Stakeholders and Suppliers for outstanding query resolutions
- Ensuring all source documentation/approvals are saved on SharePoint.
- Providing ad hoc support as required during key financial reporting periods (month ends/quarters/year ends) with the setting of CTA budgets/forecasts/ad hoc analysis and reporting.
The successful candidate will have excellent excel skills (Sumifs function/Pivot tables) and will have exceptional organisation skills.
You will have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power-Point or Outlook 365 experience and will be customer focused approached.
