This role will help us to do this by supporting the Management Accountant in the efficient and accurate preparation and presentation of financial records whilst developing and maintaining effective systems.
This role is customer facing, providing the link between the Finance team and the operational side of the business.
Main areas of responsibilities:
- Process daily rent receipts accurately and timely and work with the rents team, dealing with any queries to ensure they are resolved promptly.
- Maintain and perform weekly and monthly reconciliations ensuring they are processed in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Prepare monthly landlord payments working closely with relevant departments to ensure accuracy.
- Reconcile the cash book on a weekly basis ensuring all journals are supported by paperwork and that unreconciled items are dealt with in a timely manner.
- Reconcile the rent and service charge system on a weekly basis and prepare regular monitoring reports working with the relevant departments to ensure accuracy of data.
- Process regular and ad hoc bank payments ensuring controls are adhered to.
- Maintain the sales ledger including raising sales invoices and managing debt recovery.
- Maintain the fixed asset register ensuring all data is accurate and clearly documented.
- Administer the credit card system ensuring receipts are collected and coded in a timely manner.
- Provide a high-quality service to Internal Customers. Working across the organisation to ensure procedures are understood and regularly reviewed for improvement.
We need someone who has:
- Experience of developing and working within systems and processes to record financial transactions
- Experience of working in a busy finance department
- Ability to present information, verbally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner, with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent Organisation skills
- Experience of building and maintaining positive, professional relationships with a range of people
- Good IT skills in particular Excel.

At Cadwyn the majority of our staff work in an agile way, working mostly at home (if appropriate to the role) with the ability to hot desk at one of our three sites across Cardiff or to work from any other suitable/convenient location.
