An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join the finance team at Atholl Estates as a Finance Assistant.
This new role would be well suited to someone who has had some previous finance experience and has a knowledge of bookkeeping. The successful candidate will need to be proficient in Excel and previous experience with Xero would be beneficial but not essential.

Key responsibilities
- Assistance in the preparation of the monthly management accounts including detailed account analysis and VAT checks, balance sheet account reconciliations and variance analysis
- Preparation of VAT returns for all entities
- Calculation and posting of the monthly overhead recharges between the different entities
- Responsible for collating and checking the wages information each month for the maintenance and woodland teams
- Maintain and update the asset register and prepare and post the depreciation journals each month
- Responsible for the accounting for the restaurant including posting daily sales and reconciling the income accounts
- Analysis of key accounts as required
- Support and cover other areas of the finance function
