Job Description
Lead the in-house IS team, improving day to day services through an inspired, motivated, and highly efficient team: -
- Define and lead technology strategies ensuring they meets the growing needs of our business
- Enable and support business transformation and critical change projects, leading all third party technology developments
- Lead core services, network, technology services, service desk, access to systems and equipment, providing a high quality user experience
- Collaborate with colleagues from across the business and external industry partners to align our strategies, share learning and best practice to achieve the best outcomes
- Manage supplier relationships to promote value for money from excellent services
- Lead the Info Sec Team to ensure Cyber security defences and policies are robust and under continuous improvement.
- Provide the technical platform and support for Business Insight Team and growing community of analysts.
The Successful Applicant
ITIL Service Management knowledge and experience is essential as is an understanding of enterprise architecture and the essential practices that keep staff, information, and data safe and secure
- Experience of working on large scale digital transformation projects
- Able to align modern technology projects with day-to-day service delivery identifying opportunities for efficiency and business process change through technology
- An inspiring leader of teams; engaging, motivating, innovating, and experienced in leading people through change whilst putting Customers at the heart of service initiatives
- Experience of improving service operations functions
- Experience of managing large budgets and financial planning
- Confident influencer, collaborator, and relationship builder
- Resilient, comfortable in the role of most senior service expert providing advice and guidance to Directors, Senior Leaders, Project Leaders as well as Group colleagues and external suppliers
- Able to be on site 3 days a week
