SONIA FRIEDMAN PRODUCTIONS (SFP) is an international production company responsible for some of the most successful theatre productions around the world. Since 1990, SFP has developed, initiated, and produced over 185 new productions and together the company has won 58 Olivier Awards, 34 Tonys and 3 BAFTAs.
Current productions include: The Book of Mormon, West End; Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, West End, Broadway, Melbourne, Hamburg, Toronto and Tokyo; To Kill a Mockingbird, West End; Funny Girl, Broadway; Leopoldstadt, Broadway; The Piano Lesson, Broadway and Merrily We Roll Along, New York. Forthcoming productions include: The Secret Life of Bees, London; Patriots, West End; Oklahoma!, West End; New York, New York, Broadway and Merrily We Roll Along, Broadway.
THE ROLE
The SFP Finance Assistant will support the SFP Finance Director across a wide breadth of accounting areas. The role is based in the SFP production office in central London, but involves supporting a large number of both internal and external stakeholders. The Accounts Payable, Receivable and General Ledger functions are supported by the ATG Finance team based in Woking (UK) so there may be occasional travel to this office. There will also be work with US-based staff.
Ideally you will have the following:
- Some experience / knowledge of accounting transactions, debits and credits.
- Confidence in interactions with work colleagues and external stakeholders (suppliers, bank).
- Desire to undertake formal accounting qualifications and training.
