Overview
2fawcett are recruiting for a Finance Assistant, to join a business basied in Sheffield on a permanent, full time basis.
As the accounts assistant, you will be reporting to the Finance Controller, providing accounts and purchase ledger support.
The Role & Responsibilities of the Finance Assistant
- Inputting invoice data for sales and purchase invoices
- Reconciling bank accounts
- Posting cash payments to the ledger
- Daily invoicing
- Checking purchasing invoices against relevant orders
- Ensuring all timesheets are collected on time for payment
- Assisting with financial audits and controls
- Involvement with month and year end duties
- Completing general office duties and document control
Requirements of the Finance Assistant
- Microsoft Excel knowledge
- Experience in using accounting softwares
- Experience in a similar role
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £25,000.00 per year
