A bit about the role...
Reporting into the UK&I Finance Manager, the UK&I analyst will support the implementation and development of best-in-class systems, processes and controls which deliver accurate and timely reporting of UK&I Financial results. This will mean working closely with the UK&I commercial Finance team as well as other stakeholders such as supply chain, commercial and operations.
- Accountability for the preparation and completion of the period end accounts, variance analysis, commentary for certain operations within UK&I.
- Preparation of management presentations, providing P&L insight to management to drive business decisions
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
- Business support and ad hoc query management
- Cash management and reporting, and supporting supplier payments and bad debt collection
- Financial system reconciliations (D365/Hyperion HFM/3rd party systems)
- Supporting on projects, including new business set up, and business unit transactions (acquisitions/disposals as they arise)
- Supporting on external audits and liaising with external auditors
- Supporting process excellence and the effective use of automation where appropriate
- SOX compliance

- Part-Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or local equivalent)
- Strong PC and Excel skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate with all levels, both financial and non-financial
- Driven with a desire to succeed.
