As an Analyst within the Business Intelligence department, you will support our delivery of reporting solutions that inform data-lead decision making. You will be working as a crucial part of a daring team in a dynamic and multifaceted role. You will contribute to innovative approaches in business intelligence analytics, work on ad hoc analysis, provide data on demand, and BAU reporting.

You will be responsible for the end-to-end management and delivery of insightful analytical projects that optimally translate customer queries into practical insights. You will demonstrate your ability to influence when communicating results and complicated analytical techniques in an easy-to-understand manner. You will be experienced in SQL, R, Microsoft Power BI and Excel and confident when visualizing results of analytical projects via tools such as Power BI and/or R (in Markdown or Shiny). As an expert in digital analytics tools, you will advise partners on what's technically possible.

What you'll be doing:

• Extracting, interpreting, and communicating product data
• Developing reports, dashboards, datasets, and other reporting tools
• Fully detailing and ensuring traceability of analytical projects
• Becoming an authority in the data of our products
• Working as an integral member of our mature analytics department
• Collaborating closely with business functions to support ongoing and upcoming projects
• Bridging the gap between potential problems and solutions
• Contributing to the execution of BI strategy
• Chipping in to an environment that reshapes the reporting function from reactive and task-based to proactive and forward-looking to help guide the business
• Identify gaps in existing information provision and opportunities for new levels of support

Crucial

• SQL Server
• R (dplyr, tidyverse, data.table etc.)
• Excel
• Data visualisation
• Ensure accuracy of reported information
• Strong communication skills with ability maintain good working relationships across departments

• Visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, R Markdown, Shiny
• Previous professional experience working in an analytics team
• A customer service orientation and validated partner leadership skills
