THE ROLE
The role sits within Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and focuses on supporting cost planning and budgeting. Key responsibilities are providing monthly reporting on administrative costs, as well as relevant commentary, and supporting a wide array of stakeholders at different levels of the organisation with insights. This role will also engage with the Financial Accounting Team to agree accounting treatment and month end processes.

You will be…
- Providing insights and analysis to the FP&A and Senior Leadership team on a monthly basis
- Playing a key part in the preparation of quarterly budgets for your stakeholders, covering costs over £50mil, which guide the Directors’ decisions for the remainder of the year
- Supporting stakeholders with insights and data, creating a story from the numbers that drives decision making
- Delivering projects and initiatives for controlling costs, improving ROI, and driving the bottom line
- Collaborating closely with the wider Finance function and other stakeholders throughout the business
- Preparing ad hoc analyses
- Working in a supportive and engaging team with individual development as a key focus

- High standard of accuracy and ability to work with financial and statistical data
- Ability to be proactive within a fast-paced, dynamic environment, susceptible to change
- Basic Excel skills and computer literate
- Customer focused
- Strong communication skills especially with non-finance colleagues
- Desire to gain a recognised accountancy qualification
