A fantastic Finance Business Partnering position within a leading Entertainment/Media business that has multiple business interests in the UK and the owner of a number of well-known media brands.
This commercially focused role will focus on supporting key stakeholders within content, marketing, events and research for their broadcast division. This role will work with the business to provide valuable insight and analysis to help support business decisions, alongside budgeting and forecasting. The role is a 50/50 split of business partnering and analysis.
The position will suit an individual who is actively studying and nearing the end of their professional accountancy qualifications. You will need to have a natural confidence, be able to work with the business, helping them to ensure success within their division. You will be a great team player, enjoy working in a fast paced environment and be a self-starter.

Responsibilities of the role include:
· Manage the month end process, ensuring all business unit financials are correct for submission to the central finance team
· Responsible for full revenue and profitability reporting for various depts including the events division
· Monitor and reconcile costs to include headcount, talent, travel, entertainment
· Prepare the monthly reports, reviewing with the key stakeholders
· Preparation of monthly forecasts and involved with the re-forecasting process
· Identify and analyse key trends and patterns to improve performance
· Involved in the annual budgeting process and monthly reviews, analysing any variance
· Ad hoc analysis, assessing the new business initiatives, scenarios etc
· Provide insight & analysis of the financials to support business decisions
Ideal candidate profile:
· Part Qualified/Finalist Accountant (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent - Actively studying)
· Previous business partnering experience ideally gained within broadcast, media or similar environment
· Strong excel skills
· Highly numerate, commercially astute and self motivated
· Exceptional interpersonal skills with a passion for working with the business
· Great team player, able to build strong working relationships with stakeholders of all levels
· Confident communicator, being able to make financial understandable to all
· Approachable, adaptable with a ‘can-do’ attitude
· Able to manage a busy workload, meet deadlines and manage expectations
· A genuine interest in media, events and broadcast
