Tide Partnership are representing an fantastic and diverse charity in their search for a Finance Analyst. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our clients mission by conducting thorough analysis of a wide range of datasets. Your objective will be to embed best practices into our day-to-day operations and contribute to the long-term planning of the organisation.
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Finance and the rest of the Finance Team.
As the Finance Analyst your job responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Efficiently oversee the aggregation and fusion of financial and non-financial data across the charitable organization, forming a solid basis for insightful analysis.
- Produce meticulously crafted reports that contain actionable data insights and provide clear recommendations for decision-making
- Discern patterns and extract meaningful conclusions from intricate datasets, contributing to informed decision-making processes.
- Streamline and enhance processes, systems, models, and reports to optimize effectiveness and precision.
- Deliver training sessions to colleagues and stakeholders, elevating their comprehension of data, trends, and projections.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure the accurate presentation and interpretation of data.
- Uphold data governance best practices, promoting adherence to compliance standards throughout the organization.
- Support the organization's mission by comparing data against internal and external benchmarks and metrics.
- Contribute to the organization's overall prosperity by actively participating in strategic initiatives and projects.
- Undertake miscellaneous tasks as needed, including providing coverage for members of the Finance team during their absences.
Essential Job Criteria
- Qualified Accounting qualification i.e. ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent
- Proficient in analysing and interpreting numerical data to identify trends and patterns.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage conflicting deadlines.
- Demonstrates composure under pressure to effectively resolve problems.
- Independent worker who can plan, prioritise, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Proactive self-development and takes initiative.
- Demonstrates clear and effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Makes informed and transparent decisions.
- Strong investigative and research skills.
- Works in an organised and methodical manner with strong attention to detail and consistently produces high-quality work.
