About the Role
Do you have an interest in using Excel to solve data problems? Do you like to find innovative ways to visualise complex data using charts and graphs? You will be covering a wide scope of work from dealing with Programme Finance Teams, Overheads Team, Central Accounting and Finance Planning and Analysis Team.
Your role will cover a wide area of reporting including but not limited to,
- Data analysis and interrogation
- Variance analysis
- Journal creation and entry
- Month end processing
- Weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting
- Involvement in Long Range Plan (Bi-annually)
- Participation in Quarterly Reviews
- Finance Rep support
- Completion of Internal Audit Procedures
- Working closely with senior team members
- Assisting with ad hoc tasks and projects as required.
Required skills, qualifications and experience
- Experience of working in a Finance role such Finanace Assistant, Accouts Payable or similar
- AAT qualified, part qualified or qualified by experience
- Excel skills - ability to write basic formulas and creating simple graphs / charts
- Powerpoint skills - ability to create presentations
- Aptitude for learning and willingness to take on new tasks
- Highly organised and able to deliver to set deadlines
- Good verbal and written communications skills
- Comfortable liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- SAP, Tableau, BI experience
