Job title: Finance Analyst
Hours: 37 Hours Per Week, Monday- Friday
Location: Beechwood Hall, High Wycombe
Introduction:
As Finance Analyst you are the key financial and commercial support to Senior Operational leaders helping them set the overall business strategy, drive our contract profitability and operational delivery. You will be working closely with Operational & Commercial leaders to ensure that bids, tenders, spend & investment decisions are made with financial rigour. You will agree financial targets and measure financial performance, and then work with operational teams to agree actions to drive improved performance.

What you will do:
You will work closely with senior operational & commercial leaders and other support teams to drive business performance to make healthcare better for our patients by:
- Business Partnering the operational Senior Management Team;
- Supporting new business opportunities, working with the business to ensure these are compelling for our customers and commercial attractive for InHealth with rigorous financials to support;
- Providing relevant and key financial reporting, enabling business performance to be tracked and understood;
- Building ambitious and realistic financial plans with key operational leaders to help drive the business forward;
- Using foresight to identify opportunities to improve financial performance or patient experience;
- Building strong relationships across the organisation to drive business performance.
What you are responsible for:
- Preparing the monthly management accounts, providing analysis of trends and performance for monthly business reviews, including development of KPIs.
- Developing and improving the consolidation and reporting of the business unit numbers.
- Providing key commercials analysis relevant to the business needs for use in pricing and costing decisions.
- Providing commercial support to the business leadership teams in support of complex agreements, market evaluation, determination and execution of strategy.
- Providing financial analysis for the annual planning process for the business.
- Ensuring rigor, control and support over the annual budget process for the business so that it is owned by the business and consistent with Group framework guidance and targets.
- Providing accurate monthly forecasts for the next month, full year and comparison to plan periods as required.
- Supporting delivery of pricing or costing models in support of business opportunities.
- Providing analysis of investments (including complex capital expenditure).
- Identifying system and process developments to ensure focus on continual improvement of activities within the InHealth finance team.
- Ensuring that cost efficiency is paramount within the business by identifying areas of unnecessary expenditure.
- Improving the profitability of the business by evaluating options around pricing, operating models (opening hours, booking system costs, etc.), use of capacity and consumables.

You should apply if you have experience:
- Several years of experience working within a finance department.
- Fundamental accounting principles demonstrated by in-role experience and progress in studying for a professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
- Experience at manipulating and analysing high volumes of data and reporting findings concisely and understanding the commercial drivers behind the numbers.
- Ability to review business processes and performance on an operational level.
- Proven track record in making reporting efficiencies whilst maintaining strong controls.
- To communicate effectively with finance and non-finance colleagues as well as be seen as a credible finance partner to senior management.
- Must be able to demonstrate a high level of understanding and enthusiasm about the business.
- Computer literate (MS Office) including intermediate Excel.
