Job description

We are looking for a Finance Analyst to join our team working across our Joint Ventures sites, which include UCH, The Wilmslow Hospital and The Christie Private Care facilities.

Location: HCA joint Ventures – Nationwide (Hybrid working)

Salary: up to £45,000 per annum depending on experience + Private Medical + Pension

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Preparation of financial/Statistical information on a scheduled basis for internal or external submission.

  • Support the finance team to a high standard ensuring the accuracy and completeness of reporting.

  • KPI reporting and accurate data keeping thereof – using Excel and Cognos

  • Review and analysis of activity and productivity KPIs to ensure that variances are understood, and misstatements are corrected.

  • Responsible for the collation and distribution of the weekly/monthly Hospital reports to the published deadlines.

  • Extracting and analysing data from various data sources, providing financial and statistical information to facilitate business processes and help decision-making on the key questions facing all areas of operations

  • Assist in preparation of annual budget, including preparation of the budget models for submission to the hospitals.

Skills and experience:

  • Prior experience of working within a financial environment

  • Ability to manipulate data and produce Excel reports

  • Computer literate including an excellent knowledge of Excel.

  • Ability to devise solutions to constantly changing demands for presentation of information to Senior Management.
