We are pleased to announce that Sheridan Maine is collaborating with an established organisation in the centre of Birmingham to recruit a Finance Administrator. This opportunity has emerged as a result of their ongoing global expansion. Your responsibilities as the Finance Administrator will include: Managing client funds and accounts receivable Liaising with the customer service team to address customer account inquiries Preparing regular control reconciliations on a daily and monthly basis Processing invoices for payment, obtaining necessary authorisations as needed Administering client orders and maintaining accurate account records Performing bank account reconciliations Coordinating with external banks to ensure seamless operations Monitoring client accounts and open orders for late payment Providing support to the broader business and finance team as necessary The successful Finance Administrator will require the following skills and experience: Banking or retail Financial Services experience is beneficial A keen attention to detail An ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be very organised in your approach to work Strong computer skills, including a good knowledge of Excel Benefits: Bonus scheme (up to 30% of your base salary) Cycle to work scheme (5% of salary up to £2.5k) 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays, plus the option to purchase additional days Half-day off for your birthday Budget for skills development Pirkx (online GP, mental health care, and discounts portal) Yearly volunteer day Staff discounts on products If you're passionate about this position or are keen to hear more, please click on “apply” as soon as possible.
