Job Description Summary
This is a secondment role within the Payments team, which sits within the Finance function.We need a positive individual to join our fast paced and collaborative team!
We take care of a wide variety of processes, including sending daily CHAPs payments, handle Unclaimed Funds on behalf of the bank and investigate unapplied Credit Card payments to allocate to the right account.
The role would suit a motivated teammate who can help ensure we deliver in line with SLAs and meet the highest possible standards of risk and control.
The team sits in Group Finance Support which is a Finance shared services business area.
Job Description
In this role you'll work alongside other finance administrators to generate and complete daily BAU workbooks and create payments to send out of the team. You'll be working collaboratively, ensuring all work created is accurate and sent off for processing in an efficient and accurate manner.
Once fully trained the job will involve responding to a range of queries linking in with line management and/or other business areas, if required. You'll also learn all aspects Payments to ensure we have sufficient critical cover.
We ensure that all work is completed accurately and adheres to specified Group policies, processes and procedures and relevant external regulations where required.
We're always looking to improve processes so a keen eye for improvement will be a great skill to bring to our team.

Ability to utilise Excel is an advantage
Although this role is advertised as full time, we would also consider part time should the right candidate apply.
Please note: Working pattern is Bristol office 2 days per week and working from home 3 days per week. Candidate must be flexible should this changed.
