Job description
We are looking for a Finance Admin Assistant to join our team on a part-time temporary basis over the summer months.
As Finance Admin Assistant your role will be to support our Finance team int he running of our day-to-day operations and provide holiday cover. Your tasks will include input and operation of the purchase ledger system, processing and input of income sheets, preparation of weekly supplier payments, raising purchase orders, reconciling bank accounts and credit card receipts, and coordinating data collection. You'll also provide admin support to our Finance Manager.

You'll join our experienced and friendly finance team, playing your part to ensure we deliver an outstanding customer experience right across our organisation.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a finance role, a good head for numbers and sharp eye for detail. You'll be approachable and able to communicate effectively at all levels. As this role is temporary, providing holiday cover for members of our team, you'll have previous experience using finance systems, preferably Sage 50 or similar. You'll be a quick learner, working to high standards with a helpful and positive approach.

There is flexibility around working the hours to suit your other commitments; due to the nature of the job, we would anticipate the hours being worked over three, four or five days a week. Working pattern preferences will be discussed at interview. Candidates will have availability to start the role week commencing 26 June 2023, for a period of approximately eight weeks.
