Job description
Java roastery is looking for an exceptional coffee trainer to take ownership of the design and delivery of coffee training across all our locations. You will be responsible for implementing, managing, and monitoring all in-house and centralised training of our coffee team.
The role will require the successful candidate to lead on all aspects of coffee skills development, operational flow on shifts, working closely with the management team.
This is an incredible opportunity for someone who is passionate about specialty coffee and understands the importance of delivering exceptional training and development to baristas of all levels.

- Passionate and knowledgeable about specialty coffee as well as great latte art.
- An excellent communicator and influencer with strong interpersonal skills
- Able to closely engage various groups of coffee professionals at all levels of experience

- Devoted to educating, leading and encouraging coffee development with all team members.
- Highly confident and experienced in delivering and training consistency, quality and speed across all locations
- Able to jump behind a machine during peak periods of trade
- A self starter who is continuously innovating and looking towards the next challenge
Responsibilities
- Management of coffee training and coffee quality control
- Development and implementation of all coffee educational content
- Providing ongoing support to all barista teams.
- On-site barista training and support
- On-site auditing of equipment, coffee quality, and barista skills
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £14.10 per hour
