Sulis Hospital Bath, a leading healthcare provider in Somerset and pioneer in patient care and experience, has an opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team. It’s a fast paced environment with no two days being the same but that’s what makes this job so exciting.
Role & Responsibilities
We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate individual who can take ownership and assist in our key areas of the finance function Accounts Receivable and Private Billing.
You will work closely with the Management Accountant with month-end processes and assist accounts receivable with accurate and timely billing to patient’s accounts, billing both insured and self-pay patients in line with contract and tariff rules.
The role requires attention to detail as you will carry out regular reconciliations and also support the upload of Electronic invoicing to Healthcode through EDI.
This role will require working on-site but has the flexibility to work remotely part-time as well. This role will require you to work autonomously, using your own initiative to prioritise and complete a variable and high-volume workload.
