Lapse is looking for an experienced, highly creative filmmaker who’s as comfortable with a camera in their hand as they are in an edit suite, to join an exciting video production company based in Cambridge.
We’re looking for someone who’s excited about making a big impact with a small growing company with a great client base, expanding creative boundaries and working in a tight-nit team of young creatives producing high quality video content that makes a difference to their clients.
The job will be based in our Cambridge office & studio, and will involve frequent travel around the UK. Unfortunately we cannot consider remote candidates for this position.
What you’ll be doing:
- Taking client briefs, understanding and developing them.
- Shooting a wide variety of content in varied locations across the uk and abroad.
- Using a range of cameras including RED DSMC2, DJI Ronin 4D, Sony A7S and even IPhone.
- Editing content to meet fast turn around deadlines.
- Working with a collaborative team to edit engaging content using DaVinci Resolve and the Adobe creative suite.
- Working with clients both online and in person to action amends on videos quickly.
We’d like to meet someone with:
- Experience in both shooting and editing different styles of video content.
- Previous experience in a professional creative environment liaising with clients directly.
- Extensive experience in using DaVinci Resolve and/or Adobe Creative Cloud.
- An engaging up to date showreel that demonstrates your ability behind the camera and in the edit.
