Role Overview:
We're on the lookout for a Film Crew Member with a flair for photography to join our team. In this role, you'll play a vital part in the production process, assisting with equipment setup, lighting arrangements, focus pulling, and other essential responsibilities associated with film production. Additionally, you'll have the chance to explore the world of photography and contribute your skills to both our film and photography projects. We believe in the power of passion and are excited to mentor and nurture individuals who are enthusiastic about learning the ropes of the industry.
We'd like you to note that this role is very dependant on client outreach and demand. There may be some weeks that have no work and some weeks with over 20 hours of work. We will always let you know as far in advance whether there is future work for you.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the production team to set up and maintain equipment for film shoots, ensuring everything is ready for action.
- Assist with lighting arrangements, contributing to the creation of visually stunning scenes that align with the project's vision.
- Participate in focus pulling, ensuring shots are sharp and in line with the director's artistic intent.
- Contribute actively to the overall success of the film crew by fulfilling standard film crew responsibilities such as set preparation, organization, and teamwork.
- Embrace the opportunity to learn and grow within the role, taking on new challenges and expanding your skill set in the realm of film production.
- Communicate effectively with other crew members.
- Be able to work long hours in difficult conditions (This is very rare!).
Qualifications:
- Passion for film and photography.
- No specific experience is required; we're willing to train candidates who demonstrate a genuine eagerness to learn.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptability and a proactive attitude, particularly when faced with new challenges.
- Enthusiasm for contributing to a team and a project's overall success.

Job Type: Zero hours contract
