Who you are:
You will have a strong product background with a great eye for detail. Be commercially minded with current awareness of retail fashion and lifestyle trends. Previous experience in a field based visual role and delivering a high standard in visual merchandising skills. A good communicator, happy to support and develop teams with keen creative and influencing skills to motivate and inspire retail terms. Availability to travel and flexibility in ways of working are key attributes required for this role
Primary objective of the job:
To support retail shops with the strong execution and delivery retail visual standards to promote a consistent and aspiration brand experience for our customers. Working alongside the retail a visual managers to upskill and develop our teams. You will be covering areas from Scotland, York, Manchester, Birmingham to Wales
What you’ll be doing:
- Working alongside the VM Manager and wider Visual team to support in the creation of all seasonal visual guidelines in head office
- Responsible for supporting the planning and execution of White Stuff visuals guidelines within stores throughout the area
- Performs weekly store visits to coach store teams on how to interpret the visual guidelines in line with the brand visual strategy
Is able to provide constructive feedback on visits to store teams and Area Managers, on how to further develop visual proposition and trade within stores
- Support store teams on implementing all seasonal creative from windows to instore
- Set up of Model Store to brand guidelines, cascade, and implementation through shop teams
- Supports on planning and implementation of new stores openings or refits
Driving results:
- To have a clear commercial understanding of different store fascia’s, market type and customer profile, with the ability to adapt visual style where necessary
- Utilising performance data and business reports to influence commercial decision making and identify sales and product opportunities
- Builds relationships with external business partners such as John Lewis and M&S and provides additional hands-on visual support and training when required
- Conducts regular research on current and future trends in design and lifestyle, to influence the visual merchandising / styling and interior creative
Developing others:
- Responsible for training all new Branch Managers into the business within area/ region
- Joins AM area calls to remotely communicate key visual messages to store teams on a weekly basis
- Attends all Area Meetings within the area/ region to deliver key visual messages and LWS focus
- Holds inspiring training sessions within markets to upskill and develop store teams with the ability to cultivate talent and promote success
What you’ll need:
- Previous experience in a field based visual role
- Good understanding of product and commercial reporting
- Experience of producing visual presentation packs, utilising PowerPoint and Cads
