Field Support Engineer (2nd/3rd line)
LOCATION: ROTHERHAM
LENGTH OF CONTRACT: 6-12 MONTHS - OUTSIDE IR35
DAY RATE: £200+ OUTSIDE IR35
COMPANY: UK /EU GROUP (£1 Billion+ turnover, 1200+ staff)
START DATE: ASAP
JOB PURPOSE
To provide 2nd/3rd line support to a wide rage of users across the UK and Europe. To perform break-fix maintenance for all reported issues. Respond to reactive issues and complete the successful installation of both software and hardware to meet business requirements.
Main Responsibilities
Ensuring the smooth running of the business systems and network infrastructure.
Activities may include:
- Hardware and software installations.
- Create and maintain specific infrastructure documentation.
- End to end ownership of problem resolutions
Knowledge and Experience:
- 5+ year's experience as a Desktop/field based engineer
Must have strong knowledge with the following:
- MS Windows Server Technologies
- Office 365 Administration
- Active Directory
- Firewalls, Router & VPN Technologies
- Office 365
- VMWare
- NAS & Storage Technologies
