Job description
Unique opportunities don't come around often but this role certainly is unique. If you like travel and want to progress a career within engineering whilst constantly being trained and developed then read on. My client is looking to take on a new field service engineer and the best part is you don't need to have done this exact role before, but you just need a small amount of engineering exposure the rest can be taught. This role includes a large amount of travel across Europe and the globe with some amazing life experiences to be had along the way, it's a very exciting job.
The salary for this role will start around 33k whilst you train but your OTE is 50-60k in the first year. This is due to all the additional allowances added on to your package every time you stay away for work. Travel is a huge part of the role and you are likely to be based at different locations up to 2 weeks at a time on each trip. The perk of this is you get days given back to you for trips away to balance it out so can have a few days to rest at home inbetween each work experience. There is also a huge earning potential as each trip has additional allowances pushing up your salary.
The role involves building equipment used on construction sites across the UK, Oil rigs, Wind turbines and more. You will need to have done a hands on role in the past preferably in an engineering environment and be happy to be put through your engineering NVQ level 3 if you don't already have this.
This role would be ideal for someone who loves to travel and enjoys new experiences, someone who is money driven and someone hands on.
