Barnes Roffe Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to join one of their clients based in NW London.
Job Description:
The Finance Manager is responsible for the financial management of the company’s operations. This position will be responsible for the planning, preparation and coordination of all financial transactions. The Finance Manager will also be responsible for the budgeting, analysis and forecasting of the company’s financial position and its ability to meet its objectives. The ideal candidate will have a background in finance, accounting and/or a related field.
Essential Functions:
- Prepare, analyze and present financial statements in a timely manner
- Coordinate and manage all accounting transactions
- Prepare budget and financial reports
- Analyze and forecast company’s financial position
- Monitor and maintain company’s accounting records and recordskeeping procedures
- Prepare tax returns and prepare financial statements for taxation purposes
- Ensure compliance with local, state, federal and company-specific requirements
- Prepare reports on financial performance metrics such as revenue, expenses etc
- Manage internal controls over cash flow, receipts etc.
- Prepare budgets for departments as needed

- Prepare budgets for taxation purposes (e.g. sales tax)
- Monitoring of compliance with local, state, federal and company-specific requirements
- Maintain all accounting records ( Journals, ledgers etc.)and keep them up to date at all times.
- Prepare financial forecasts at regular intervals to ensure compliance with legal guidelines and company policies.
- Other duties as assigned by management
Experience needed:
- Accounting qualification essential.
- Proven experience in similar job role.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience of Xero is preferable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven can-do attitude with an ability to work calmly and accurately.
- A self-motivated individual that can work to strict time deadlines.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
