Job description
SureCare Hertfordshire is looking for a dedicated and passionate Field Care Supervisor to work across Hertfordshire. Previous 2 years of care experience is required.
The role of a Field Care Supervisor….
As a Field Care Supervisor, you would be one of the most valued members of our team, in addition to delivering the high quality care we are known for, you would also be meeting and assessing new service users, completing client reviews and risk assessments, identifying and dealing with any queries that may arise and report to the office. You would also be responsible for supervising, mentoring and carrying out spot checks on field staff, ensuring that our high standards are maintained at all times and adhered to code of conduct and companies values and ethos.
Purpose of the position
The role is a key role in ensuring only the highest standards of quality care are delivered at all times. The Field Care Supervisor is responsible for implementing quality control systems. Providing ongoing support to all Care Staff within a defined geographical area.
Main duties and responsibilities
- To carry out all client assessments for new clients including risk assessments as part of the Assessment process.
- To regularly monitor and review clients updating documentation including support plans as required.
- To carry out introductory visits of new care workers to a client.
- To ensure all client visits are always covered.
- To be part of the on-call team in case of an emergency on a rota basis.
- To liaise closely with Care Coordinators in relation to recruitment, allocation of Care Workers and the development of care & support plans.
- To identify Care Workers to cover for any absences, this may be due to sickness or holiday.
- To allocate suitable alternative Care Workers when an existing Care Worker notifies that they are unable to attend a call.
- To be actively involved with the induction of all new Care Workers.
- To identify any additional training needs of Care Workers.
- To urgently report any changes in a Care Worker's or customer's schedule to the Care Coordinator.
- To monitor, supervise and mentor all Care Workers in the field.
- To provide support to all Care Workers in the field.
- To monitor all customers for service and Care Worker satisfaction.
- To ensure accuracy and completeness of all documentation held in customers' homes.
- To ensure that all written reports and administration is up to date
- To maintain close liaison with both the Registered Manager and Care Coordinator. Team Leaders are responsible for the efficient running of their own specific, defined areas and should vary their hours of work in order to effectively monitor and support all Care Workers and customers.
Essential that you…
- Have NVQ/QCF L2 and/or L3 diploma in Health and Social Care
- Have at least 2 years of care experience in health and social care sector
- Hold a UK full driving licence and have access to your own vehicle
- Able to demonstrate ability to communicate information and develop individuals to improve their knowledge and skill set
- Continually look to improve customer satisfaction and minimise customer dissatisfaction
- Maintain effective relationships with field staff, colleagues and key stake- holders to ensure the effective and safe delivery of services.
- have a good IT and communication skills
- participate in our 'on-call' and 'back-up' during out of hours.

Salary: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
