Job description
An opportunity to work for one the UK's largest producers of specialist animal feed ingredients. In this role you will oversee the fermentation process that is used to create microbiological products that are used in a wide range of animal feed products to include Ruminant, Swine, Pet and Equine. There are several roles available in the fermentation department, dependent on prior experience. These will be discussed with you in the initial stages of your application. To be successful in this role, you will need to be well organised, pay exceptional attention to detail and be able to observe and adhere to strict hygiene standards. Candidates must have prior experience working in food production or laboratories where production is carried out in a sterile environment, this company pride themselves on exceptional quality products which is monitored through strict quality control testing throughout the manufacturing process. The role: Carry out sterilisation and harvest processes of bacteria. Weighing raw materials. Oversee freeze drying process. Record keeping- strict guidelines are in place to ensure product purity and quality. Ensuring a clean and sterile environment. Maintenance and monitoring of equipment.
